By attending the Iowa State Football Camp, young athletes get an opportunity to solidify their football fundamentals and get a jump on their upcoming season with the coaching staff at Iowa State University. The Iowa State Football staff has years of coaching experience at many different levels of football.
Each camper will experience the same atmosphere, facilities, and instruction that an Iowa State Football player receives. You will see firsthand that our program is based on class, character, and integrity. This camp will give you an excellent opportunity to develop yourself for the upcoming fall. We sincerely hope you consider joining us this summer.
General Camp Information
Location
Iowa State Football Camps are located in Ames, Iowa on the spectacular Iowa State University campus. There is easy access to Ames via Interstate 35, Highway 30, and other routes. Ames is located just 30 miles north of Des Moines and within easy driving distance from any city in the state.
Goals
Iowa State’s Football Camps offer you the chance to enhance your individual skills in a team atmosphere. You will learn the fundamentals that will make you a championship player on a championship team. Plus, you’ll learn the importance of leadership, sportsmanship, and academics from Coach Paul Rhoads and the members of his coaching staff. Don’t miss the opportunity to improve yourself as a player and as a person.
Insurance
Each camper will be covered by the 24-hour insurance program. Any additional coverage is the responsibility of the parent or guardian.
Enrollment
You may enroll online here, or each camp page will have a downloadable brochure for mail-in registration. You must also complete the Release and Medical Authorization, Insurance Information form.
Cancellations
Cancellations-your fee, less a $100 nonrefundable deposit, will be refunded without any questions if you cancel your enrollment prior to June 1, 2010. At any time after June 1, refunds (less $100 nonrefundable registration fee) will be made for medical reasons only. Requests for refunds must be accompanied by a signed excuse from your physician. Campers who must leave during the week due to illness or injury will receive a pro-rated refund based on the number of days room and board were required. NO REFUNDS will be given to campers who voluntarily leave camp or who are sent home for disciplinary reasons.
